Rizhao Stainless Steel Base Fully Operational - INOCO Self-Cleaning Filters Widely Used in Water Systems
The Rizhao Stainless Steel Base is located in Lanshan Industrial Park, Rizhao City. It has an annual output of 8.1 million tons of iron, 8.5 million tons of steel, and 7.9 million tons of steel products. The main processes include raw material yard, sintering, pelletizing, blast furnace, converter, refining, continuous casting, hot strip rolling mill, Steckel mill, heavy plate mill, pickling and rolling, hot-dip galvanizing, electro-galvanizing, etc. After the project is put into operation, the main products will be high-value-added hot-rolled sheets, cold-rolled sheets, coated steel sheets, heavy plates, etc., covering fields such as marine engineering, high-end manufacturing, emerging industries, and construction steel.
Before the construction of the Rizhao Stainless Steel Base began, domestic and international professional institutions conducted 28 large-scale feasibility studies, optimized the plan over 1600 times, and carried out 21 overall layout optimization designs. 138 world-leading technologies—— Over 2000 independent innovations laid the foundation for high-quality development.
September 29, 2017, the first qualified hot rolled coil was successfully rolled.
INOCO provided dozens of self-cleaning filters for hot rolling, with a maximum flow rate of 4000M³/H;
End of 2017, the first tap of hot metal from Blast Furnace No. 1.
Early 2018, the first qualified cold rolled coil was successfully produced.
2018, the 2050mm hot strip rolling production line, 2030mm cold rolling production line, and public auxiliary systems were started.
As of the end of August 2018, INOCO statistics showed that nearly 40 self-cleaning filters were provided for the Shandong Steel Stainless Steel Base project, applied in hot rolling, blast furnace, converter, hot strip rolling, and continuous casting projects. INOCO’s multi-element technology and double-end cleaning technology provided assurance for the stable production of Shandong Steel. In some operating conditions involving oily water treatment, INOCO’s filtration technology still performs excellently. To meet the special requirements for continuous casting conditions, INOCO delivered nearly 15 large filtration units within 30 days as requested by the general contractor, MCC Group. Given the relatively high chloride ion content in the water quality at Shandong Steel, INOCO filter housings are nickel-plated inside and out, giving them a design life of over 20 years.
